Admission Policy

 The Faculty of Engineering aims to nurture engineers who will contribute to society using science and technology, and work on bringing life in better harmony with nature. This program seeks widely from within and outside of Japan, students who:

A. Have obtained the required basic knowledge and technical skills necessary for engineering (knowledge and technical skills)
B. Have the required basic communication skills necessary for engineering (communication skill)
C. Can use logical reasoning to solve issues, explain and act based on knowledge and skills in science and technology (The ability to think, estimate and express)
D. Can learn independently and cooperatively to expand knowledge and experience in order to achieve “Dream Big, Create the World and Discover Yourself” through engineering with clear motivation (Motivation to study)
E. Is motivated to contribute to society by advancing the engineering workforce and their own potential through learning in the Faculty of Engineering (Contribute to society)

○Entrance examination by a special recommendation for specific or integrated courses is based on:
  • Basic academic knowledge of Mathematics, Science, and English
  • Achievements of distinctive education and activities in specific and integrated courses
  • Interest in the desired academic field
  • The motivation for learning in the desired academic field, and using the required basic knowledge and technical skills to solve problems and cooperate with others towards creating (manufacturing)
○Entrance examination by special recommendation is based on:
  • Basic academic ability in Mathematics, Science, and English
  • Attitude and enthusiasm to learn and participate in activities in senior high school
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the desired academic field
  • The motivation for learning in the desired academic field, and using the required basic knowledge and technical skills to solve problems and cooperate with others towards creating (manufacturing)
○Entrance examination by recommendation is based on:
  • Scholastic achievement in senior high school
  • Basic academic aptitude in Mathematics, Science, and English
○The general entrance examination is based on (the first term SA, SAB, SB, B1, the second term, the National Center Test for University Admissions CⅠ, CⅡ, CⅢ)
  • Basic academic aptitude in Mathematics, Science, and English
○Entrance examination for Returnee Students is based on:
  • Attitude and enthusiasm to learn and participate in activities in senior high school
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the desired academic field
  • The motivation for learning in the desired academic field, and using the required basic knowledge and technical skills to solve problems and cooperate with others towards creating (manufacturing)
○Entrance examination for Adult Students is based on:
  • Attitude and enthusiasm to learn and active participation in society
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the desired academic field

○Entrance examination for International Baccalaureate is based on:
