Learning information and computer engineering unleashes the power of computers and contributes to the advancement of society through Information Technology and System Design.
Essential points of the Department of Information and Computer Engineering

When thinking about information from an engineering standpoint (ie. data input to output, to storage and processing), students gain an understanding of the various technologies of mobile phones, computers, information systems, communications and networking. Students in the Information Technology (IT) Course gain skills which prepare them for employment in private IT companies. Students in the Computer Engineering (CE) Course learn to design and run information systems. Our CE Course is an engineering program that is certified as a global standard by the Japanese Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (JABEE). Students learn the advanced skills that are vital for information systems engineering. Both courses aim to develop human resources who play an active role in the design, development and manufacturing of computers, home appliances and other IT systems.
