Essential points of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

As a university certified in electrical chief engineering, National Examination for licensure is exempted.
We have four professional courses and students may take classes outside their chosen course.

The 21st century is the age of transformation to clean energy, including electric vehicles and solar power. Our Department educates engineers who study, research and champion development of new energy technologies. We offer four courses, such as Device and Computer Technology. Students in this course gain a broad range of knowledge through a program that allows them to take classes in the other courses. We pay attention interests and needs of our students. Fields related to electricity and electronics can expect to see growing employment opportunities because it is a field which serves the most important needs of society. Many of our graduates have gone on to gain fulfilling employment. Students motivated by their studies advance to graduate schools and gain success in Japan and overseas. They become highly valued for their excellent research skills and contribution to the development of new products at large companies.
