Active Learners Course

Active Learners Course

Three Key Points

Using Total Career Portfolio (TCP) to monitor self-growth during the learning process.
AL subjects allow students to visualize their future and cultivate the ability to work in teams and critical thinking. Students also develop the discipline of designing, practicing, and reflecting on their learning and acquire the qualities to become active learners.
The field of learning is the entire university!
Selecting one's field from three areas as a starting point.

This innovative course allows students to take classes in any department or faculty on the Okayama Campus. Students set their learning goals and course plans, select classes, and reflect on and learn from them step by step. A vital feature of this course is that students design their curriculum in consultation with their advisors, transcending the boundaries of their department or faculty and creating a vision for their future. Our goal is to be a reformer of the region and of the times. We nurture independent and autonomous engineers and members of society who can flexibly respond to the coming era and bring about changes in society and organizations.
