On September 26, members of the university’s Global Volunteers (Globola) participated in HEART.FULL Expo 2026, held at Ario Kurashiki.
Organized by Okayama Prefecture, the event aims to raise awareness and promote understanding of human rights. Globola joined nine other organizations in hosting booths at the event.
At the Globola booth, visitors were invited to learn about the group’s activities while taking part in a crossword puzzle. Using clues found around the booth, participants searched for a “secret word,” and those who completed the puzzle received a national flag pin badge. Around 55 people, from children to adults, took part and enjoyed interacting with Globola members.
Globola members also took to the stage to introduce their activities and engage the audience with a quiz featuring greetings and expressions from around the world. The quiz offered participants a fun opportunity to discover different languages and cultures.
Can you guess the answers?
Which country uses “Wéi” to say “Hello?” 1. South Korea 2. Finland 3. China
Which country uses “Vitajte” to say “Welcome?” 1. Slovakia 2. Brazil 3. Italy
The event provided Globola members with an opportunity to introduce their activities to the wider community and connect with visitors through quizzes, games, and international exchange.
