Animal Quality of Life (QOL)
At Okayama University of Science, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Informatics and Engineering are collaboratively engaged in developing devices to provide animal-friendly medical care and promote animal health.
Leveraging the strengths of a comprehensive university, this new style of veterinary care emerges from an interdisciplinary collaboration called "Veterinary-Engineering Cooperation." Enhancing the QOL for animals also contributes to improving human QOL.
We are committed to fostering a more prosperous life for both animals and humans and are reporting on research in this field through a series of articles on "Animal QOL."
