Student Dormitories

Student Dormitories

At the Okayama Campus, our university provides on-campus dormitories exclusively for first-year students. A live-in manager is available 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays, to provide support in case of illness or emergencies. Because the dormitories are operated directly by the university, residents benefit from close coordination and guidance between the dormitory staff and university faculty and staff.
In 2022, a new dormitory building was completed, expanding capacity and improving the environment for student residents.
Note: There are no university dormitories at the Imabari Campus.

Key Points
The dormitories have shared facilities and certain rules such as curfews. While students enjoy private rooms for personal space, they also experience a well-organized and disciplined communal lifestyle.
Regular dormitory events are held throughout the year, offering great opportunities for residents from across Japan to make friends beyond their majors and departments. These activities help students adapt to life in Okayama and reduce the loneliness of living away from home.
The dormitories are also located close to campus, providing both convenience and peace of mind for daily commuting.

Important Notes
1. Dormitory rooms usually fill up quickly (often by the end of the calendar year). Due to limited capacity, some applicants may not be able to secure a room.
2. Please be sure to read and understand the dormitory rules—such as curfew regulations—before submitting your application.
