The Department of Medical Technology provides students with a strong foundation in the life sciences, combined with a structured and hands-on education in Clinical Laboratory Science and Biomedical Engineering. The curriculum is designed enable students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and apply Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) in real-world healthcare settings.
Graduates who complete the required coursework are eligible to take national licensure examinations—either to become clinical laboratory technologists through the Clinical Laboratory Science Course or clinical engineers through the Biomedical Engineering Course.
