You will be receiving an application form from Okayama City Hall by mail on or after Thursday, May 14, 2020.

・The application period for the Special Cash Payment from Okayama City is from May 15 to August 17, 2020.
Please note this is the benefit for the international students who have registered their residence in Japan as of April 27, 2020.
Apply during this period if you are registered.
* International students who have not completed resident registration in Japan as of April 27 are not eligible.
・There are two ways to apply for the payment: (1) online or (2) by mail. Your My Number card is necessary to apply online.
City Hall has been crowded with people wanting to get the card, and it could take more than a month to receive it. Therefore, we recommend you apply by mail if you do not have a card now.
(Please wait for the application form which will be mailed from the city.)

・Applying for payment cannot be done by phone or email.
Beware of dishonest people attempting to steal your personal information. If you receive any phone calls from such individuals,

・岡山市の特別定額給付金の申請期間は5月15日~8月17日です。
4月27日時点で、日本で住民登録がされている留学生が対象です。対象となる留学生は、
この期間に申請してください。
※4月27日時点で日本での住民登録が済んでいない留学生は、対象になりません。
・申請には郵送とオンラインの2つの方法がありますが、オンライン申請はマイナンバーカードが
必要となります。マイナンバーカードの申請から交付まで約1か月かかるため、
郵送で申請した方が早く受け取りができます。(申請書は市から郵送されます。)
・申請書の作成でわからないことは、以下の連絡先に電話をしてください。
・この手続きは電話やメールでは行いません。
「手伝う」と言って、大事な財産を奪おうとする者がいます。もし、電話やメールで特別定額給付金の連絡が届いたら、
電話なら「わかりません」と言ってすぐに切る、メールはリンクをクリックしない、などを行い、大学に連絡をしてください。
