GLOBOLA members hosted a cultural exchange event at the Lounge on the 11th floor of the A1 Building. On May 22nd, twenty students from the Chihlee University of Technology and 13 OUS students came together in the group's first face-to-face event with international visitors since the pandemic. The event started with six Momotaro-themed teams that sat down to dinner and got to know each other, followed by two games.

The first was "Name that Tune," where players heard excerpts of songs. The first person who correctly identified the song won a point for their team and had the option of singing the song using karaoke.

The second was "Telepathy," where a team lines up and receives a piece of paper with a single hiragana character. Each member, with a whiteboard and marker in hand, draws a picture of something that begins with the hiragana character (e.g., if "ki" then “giraffe (kirin)” or “tree (ki)”). A team is successful if all members can draw a picture of a larger object than the previous member.

The event ended with a commemorative photo and participants taking team selfies and exchanging contact information to stay in touch.
