On Tuesday, May 9th, OUS student organization GLOBOLA held its Kick-Off meeting for the 2023 school year on the 4th floor of the C1 Building. GLOBOLA (Global Volunteers) plans and holds events that create a global community for international and Japanese students on the OUS campus and online events with university students in other countries. The events allow students to participate in activities that promote intercultural understanding, communication, and learning.

GLOBOLA members explained their raison d’être and various activities during the meeting. They also used the opportunity to inform new and prospective members about two upcoming events: the US Ambassador Program on June 28th and Tanabata ECO Nite on July 5.
