GLOBOLA Welcome Party 2023
2023.04.28更新news
On Saturday, April 22nd, GLOBOLA members hosted a welcome party in the Sky Lounge in the 50th Anniversary Building for 18 new OUS 1st-year and international students. The event started with an icebreaker game of Drop Handkerchief, a Japanese version of Duck-Duck-Goose. Then students broke into four groups and did a Scavenger Hunt. With the help of GLOBOLA members, campus maps, and clever thinking, students searched for ten venues using clues on paper placed at various locations around campus. In addition to the clues, there were multiple-choice quiz questions about the venues the groups must answer. The students visited the Third Water Aquarium and Ridai Library in Building A1, the Student Association in Building A5, Building B8, the Experimental Vineyard, Restaurant Halal, the Intensive Japanese Language Program (IJLP), Cafeteria Tampopo in C3 Building, the Music House, the Museum of Dinosaur Research in C2 Building, and Students Services in C1 Building.
