Online Cultural Exchange with Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology

OUS and Tai-Nichi Institute of Technology (Thailand) held Online Cultural Exchange Activity
On Monday, July 18th, 47 Okayama University of Science and Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology students came together for the first of four online cultural exchange activities coordinated by OUS' Global Center and Thai-Nichi’s College of General Education and Language. The event, organized by GLOBOLA, included self-introductions, an Emoji Quiz icebreaker game, Show & Tell, a 12-Yearly Events Quiz, and sending mid-summer postcards. OUS participants will write and send greeting cards to Thai-Nichi students, who will do the same in response.
All four activities aim to give Thai-Nichi students opportunities to converse with native Japanese speakers - both verbal and written - about various topics using what they have learned in their Japanese classes.
The next event will be on Monday, July 25th, organized by OUS’ Secondary Education Department of the Faculty of Education.
