Introduction of the Global Volunteer at the International Student and IJLP Orientation

The International Student Orientation was held on April 1, followed by the Intensive Japanese Language Program (IJLP) Orientation on April 6 for new students in the 2026 academic year.

At both orientations, members of the Global Volunteer (GLOBOLA) introduced a welcome event for new students. The event is designed to create opportunities for interaction between new and current students, helping them build connections across academic programs and cultures.

In addition, during the International Student Orientation, students were informed about an upcoming information session on GLOBOLA. The session provides further details about the program’s activities and how to get involved. Participating in volunteer activities offers valuable opportunities to engage with the local community and deepen cross-cultural understanding.

Through these initiatives, the Global Center, which supports GLOBOLA, aims to help new students begin their university life with confidence while encouraging meaningful connections and active engagement both on and off campus.
