Post-Program Orientation Held for Short-Term Study Abroad and Exchange Students

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the Global Center at Okayama University of Science held a scheduled post-program orientation via Zoom. The session was conducted for five participants of the short-term study abroad program in Taiwan and one student who completed an exchange program, to help them organize their overseas experiences and bridge them to their future academic studies.
On the day of the event, participants delivered presentations using PowerPoint and photographs centered on the themes of "Memorable Events" and "Insights from the Field." Each student reflected on and shared their unique perspectives on lessons learned from local interactions and daily life, as well as their growing understanding of different cultures and values.
The orientation was designed to help students reflect on their experiences abroad and internalize their learning, while also bridging those insights to their future academic pursuits and activities. It was a valuable opportunity for the students to reassess and recognize their own personal growth.
The Global Center will continue to support students' proactive learning and personal growth by providing ongoing follow-up after their overseas programs
