☒ Application for Special Cash Payments (100,000 yen) response to COVID-19 Infection

You will be receiving an application form from Okayama City Hall by mail on or after Thursday, May 14, 2020.

・The application period for the Special Cash Payment from Okayama City is from May 15 to August 17, 2020.
Please note this is the benefit for the international students who have registered their residence in Japan as of April 27, 2020.
Apply during this period if you are registered.
* International students who have not completed resident registration in Japan as of April 27 are not eligible.
・There are two ways to apply for the payment: (1) online or (2) by mail. Your My Number card is necessary to apply online.
City Hall has been crowded with people wanting to get the card, and it could take more than a month to receive it.
Therefore, we recommend you apply by mail if you do not have a card now.
 (Please wait for the application form which will be mailed from the city.)
・If you have any questions about the application form; please contact any one of the phone numbers on the next page.
・Applying for payment cannot be done by phone or email.
Beware of dishonest people attempting to steal your personal information. If you receive any phone calls from such individuals,
simply hang up. Do not respond or click any links if you receive an email. Please report such occurrences to OUS.
