University of Findlay Student Visits OUS for Science Training - Part 2

Following up on the previous report, this is an update on the activities of the visiting student trainee from the University of Findlay in the Department of Biological Sciences.

Along with OUS students of the Inokuchi Laboratory, part of the Bioscience course, the trainee visited the former Watago salt fields in Setouchi City to observe the natural habitat of the halophyte Salicornia. They experienced the nature and scenery of the Seto Inland Sea and also enjoyed local culture and specialty products by stopping at michi-no-eki (roadside stations) and the Ushimado Olive Garden. It was a wonderful day with excellent weather.
