Development of a Novel Organic Conductor for Applications in Coatable Conductive Materials

2024.04.18 updateNews

Professor Kaoru Yamamoto from the Department of Physics, in collaboration with Assistant Professor Tomoko Fujino and Professor Hatsumi Mori from the Institute for Solid State Physics at the University of Tokyo, has successfully enhanced the conductivity of a molecular complex comprising stacked donor and acceptor molecules. This groundbreaking achievement paves the way for the development of organic conductive materials that can be used for wiring simply by applying a solution.

The finding from this research have been published in the British scientific journal Nature Communications.
