2025.02.25 updateNews
On Thursday, February 20th, GLOBOLA held its annual "GLOBOLA Completion Ceremony" in Building C1 for three members who will graduate in March. Two will graduate from the Faculty of Education, Department of Secondary Education, and one from the Science and Engineering Master’s Program.
The ceremony was organized by 14 continuing GLOBOLA members and three faculty and staff members.
The event started with a “guess the picture” game using several pictures of the graduates in previous GLOBOLA activities, followed by a quiz question. The next activity was the “Anonymous Question Box,” where the graduates answered various questions, such as when they became friends, memorable GLOBOLA activities, and their most challenging classes. The third activity was a commemorative video with congratulatory messages from previous GLOBOLA members, OUS staff, and faculty. The graduates received a designer mug with a pictured word chain game and congratulatory messages from each player.
There was a short break to prepare the venue for lunch. Participants reminisced about past events while lunching on pizza, snacks, and drinks.
After lunch, each graduate received a photo album filled with pictures of them doing GLOBOLA activities, stickers, and congratulatory messages. The event ended with a conferment of certificates and commemorative photographs.
