On Thursday, November 7, Okayama University of Science welcomed a diverse group of 13 visitors from Fujitec Co., Ltd. The afternoon was filled with two international exchange activities, during which they interacted with 13 OUS students. Six Fujitec trainee employees from Vietnam, Mongolia, and Senegal were among the visitors, adding a global touch to the event.
The event started with a music activity with five OUS students at Ridai Hall on the 8th floor of the C-1 building. The Fujitec visitors performed four songs from diverse genres. Afterward, they invited OUS students onto the stage to teach them how to play the musical instruments they used in their performance. After a half-hour of practice, all participants played a song by Maroon 5 together. After their performance, all the musicians got together for a commemorative photo.
After the music activity, the Fujitec visitors transitioned to the Home Economics Room on the 9th floor of the A-1 building for a cooking activity with 12 OUS students. The participants separated into three groups and prepared and ate sweet and sour chicken from scratch together.
After cleaning up, the activity ended with all participants taking a commemorative photo.
