This department offers studies in basic medicine and engineering to enable students to understand the principles/structures of medical equipment for life support and treatment. Students aim to become nationally certified clinical engineers who can assist in treatment under the guidance of physicians and will experience technology used by medical assistants at universities and hospitals in areas including dialysis, surgery, ICU, and cardiac catheter.
