Training future engineers and researchers using a carefully formulated curriculum allows students to design, manufacture and operate machines even as beginners.

Essential points of the Department of Intelligent Mechanical Engineering

Training future engineers who will learn to design, manufacture (process), and operate machines through cooperative effort.
An educational environment that takes into consideration the level of beginners in science and engineering. Students learn electronics engineering and information engineering, centering on mechanical engineering.
Developing quality as members of society. Advanced study at a graduate school is recommended.

Our daily life is supported by various products using robotics and mechatronics technology. Students acquire knowledge about robotics and mechatronics technology used in manufacturing products that make our daily lives comfortable. Our two courses: Robotic Systems and Amusement Engineering, are developed using a carefully structured curriculum. Students learn about design and manufacturing technology, focusing on mechanical design, electric circuits, and information technology for operating machines. They put their learning to practical use in robotic competitions held each year as part of the curriculum. Our curriculum aims to train future engineers who can create products from concept to execution. Students learn to design, manufacture and operate machines (robots) through teamwork. The Japanese Society recognized our program for Engineering Education in 2014.
